Riding the syncline I stopped to photograph a self portrait at this amazing tree. I went up Maui to Crybaby and down Coyote wall. This was taken on the lower section of the syncline on Maui trail. With the trail conditions so poor around here right now the syncline over in Washington is a life saver. Post Canyon and Hospital hill have downed tree issues. Everything up higher is still covered in snow. So for now the syncline is the only place to mountain bike near Hood River.
