After the Condit Dam breach the North Western Lake take out on the Lower White Salmon has been closed. Due to the down cutting of the river, where the lake used to be, the banks are unstable. I made it out to the to the old lake site this evening to take some images. Where I am standing the water level used to be just a foot or two below me. You can now see that it is 25-30 feet lower in the picture. This is the upper side of the Lake entrance where the river still had flow when the dam was intact.
